From Faith to Climate Action
Our mission is not merely to speak of creation, but to live the Gospel in ways that heal, renew, and reconcile it. Green ELCSA is our collective call to embody faith through action, ensuring that every parish becomes a beacon of hope for people and the planet.
Faith • Justice • Renewal
Faith grounds us.
Justice moves us.
Renewal restores us.
4 steps to take practical action in your parish or congregation:
✝️ 1. Join a Working Team
Become part of one of our thematic teams:
- Team 1: Eco-Theology & Justice Team

🌍 2. Green Your Congregation
- Start or revive a Green Team in your parish.
- Host creation-focused Bible studies, lead clean-up days, plant trees, or start recycling drives.
Every small act brings renewal.
💚 3. Pray, Learn, and Share
- Use our eco-liturgical materials and prayer guides in worship (material will be available in April 2026).
- Follow us on social media for reflections, events, and opportunities to learn.
Creation is God’s first Bible, we should read it with care and reverence.
🌿 4. Support and Partner
- Collaborate with Green ELCSA as an individual, parish, organisation, or partner network.
- Offer your skills, stories, or resources to strengthen this ministry of creation care.
